Lakeisha is an esthetician who believes compassion and integrity are the two most important components to starting a new relationship with our clients.

She came into aesthetics during her journey as a professional makeup artist in her hometown, NYC. Lakeisha has always been creative at heart, studying Fashion Design in high school and college. Then later venturing into the work of beauty. Both worlds went hand in hand for Lakeisha, as she sees them as a form of self expression, storytelling and self care.

Lakeisha saw that there was something missing in the skincare industry for people that looked like her. That's where her passion for creating Melaskin Studio began. She used all of her skill sets to develop her technique that involves resurfacing the skin, stimulating healthy circulation through facial massage, and lots of hydration. She believes that treating the skin of Black People and POC  should be slow, intentional and effective. Most importantly, she has created an oasis in one of the busiest cities in the world.
